Tsonev Taken Out as Sternheimer Scoops Three-Way All-In

Level 19
Simeon Tsonev
Simeon Tsonev

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Philip Sternheimer raised to 20,000 in the hijack. Simeon Tsonev then three-bet jammed for 143,000 on the button, and Matt Vengrin also moved all in in the small blind.

Vengrin had Sternheimer covered, and Sternheimer called after he spent some time in the tank. Vengrin stood pat on the draw, as did Sternheimer. Tsonev elected to draw one card, and the players showed their cards.

Vengrin showed 8x6x5x4x2x for a pat eight, but Sternheimer had found a pat seven with 7x6x5x3x2x.

"I'm drawing dead," Tsonev claimed as he eventually tabled 9x6x4x3x2x. Tsonev took his exit, seeing Sternheimer ship the gigantic pot of nearly seven figures.

Tanaka Takes From Akhavi

Level 19

2-7 Triple Draw

Hiroshi Tanaka raised in middle position. It folded to big blind Sean Akhavi, who defended and drew two cards. Tanaka also needed two new cards, and both players checked afterward.
