Barthe and Bronshtein Clash

Level 20

Pot-Limit Omaha

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Yuval Bronshtein opened on the button to 35,000 and in the small blind Nicolas Barthe called.

Both players checked the flop of K64 to the 10 turn where Bronshtein called the bet of 30,000 from Barthe.

On the river 8, Barthe bet to the tune of 80,000 and Bronshtein went into the tank. After some time pondering his decision, he tossed his hand into the muck.

Siegel Jams It In

Level 20

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Jordan Siegel opened to 26,000 in the hijack. Jonathan Glendinning called in the small blind, and John Bunch defended his big blind.

Each player took one card on the draw, after which Glendinning led out for 25,000. Bunch made a pained fold, but Siegel moved all in for 100,000 or so.

Glendinning snap-folded, and the chips were sent Siegel's way.

Nicolas Barthe
Nicolas Barthe

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Nicolas Barthe raised to 25,000 under the gun. John Centeno moved in his last 47,000 in the hijack, and big blind Philip Jaffe committed his 76,000 as well. Barhte called, covering both.

Jaffe stood pat on the draw, as did Barthe. Centeno drew one card, and the players showed down.

John Centeno: 6x5x4x2x All in
Philip Jaffe: 9x8x7x6x2x All in
Nicolas Barthe: 9x7x6x4x3x

Barthe's nine-seven already bested Jaffe's nine-eight, and Centeno drew a 10x for an inferior ten-low. Barthe eliminated two players just before the field went on a break.
