Madsen Rivers Funkhouser in Brutal Fashion

Level 22

No-Limit Hold'em

Jeff Madsen opened the button to 32,000 before David Funkhouser raised to 256,000 with 5,000 back from the small blind, and Madsen called. The final 5,000 went in on the flop.

David Funkhouser: AJ All in
Jeff Madsen: A8

Funkhouser was in great shape to double on the AQ6 flop. Nothing changed on the 3 turn but a chop was still possible. However, the dealer peeled the 8 river in brutal fashion to give Madsen the winner as Funkhouser was sent to the payout desk.

Taylor Chopped Up By August and Zaichenko

Level 22

Omaha Hi-Lo

Andrey Zaichenko raised in middle position and on the button, Leonard August called. Both Koji Fujimoto in the small blind and Thomas Taylor in the big blind called.

The flop rolled out 2K2 and action checked around to Zaichenko who bet and everyone except for Fujimoto.

On the turn 8, Taylor checked over to Zaichenko who bet and both of his opponents called.

The river 6 saw Taylor check over to Zaichenko who bet and August called with Taylor calling behind him.

Zaichenko turned over A842 for eights full for the high and second nut low, while August turned over A1063 for the nut low. Taylor mucked as his chips were split up between his two table mates.
