Jacks for Castellanos spells Ferrah's Demise

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Meddi Ferrah and Jonathon Castellanos clashed for the final time this tournament. Ferrah jammed from the cutoff and was called by Castellanos on the button to put Ferrah at risk.

Meddi Ferrah: 77All in
Jonathon Castellanos: JJ

Ferrah gained some outs when the flop came 8610, but the 2 turn and the A river did not convert on any of them to eliminate Ferrah.

Full Boat for Castellanos

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The hand began when Meddi Ferrah jammed from the small blind for more than Jonathon Castellanos had in the big blind. Castellanos took time to ponder his decision before he chose to put the rest of his 820,000 in the middle and risk his tournament in a battle of the blinds.

Jonathon Castellanos: KQAll in
Meddi Ferrah: J6

Castellanos flopped a big hand when the board came KQ7. The K put an end to any hopes of Ferrah winning the pot as the meaningless 7 hit the river.

Gittings Doubles Through Basti

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Sherwin Basti open-shoved on the button and Alexander Gittings called in the small blind for 3,200,000 to put himself at risk.

Alexander Gittings: AQ All in
Sherwin Basti: A10

Gittings remained in the lead on the 10Q8 flop and the runout of 6, Q earned him the big double up.

Everybody Loves a Chopped Pot!

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Mark Manges moved all in from early position for 580,000 only to see Craig Savage three-bet all in over the top from middle position. All other players folded.

Mark Manges: AKAll in
Craig Savage: AQ

Manges was way ahead, and the 8KJ flop put him further out in front, but then the 10 peeled off on the turn and made Savage a straight. The Q then fell on the river and gave both players Broadway to chop the pot.

Double for Touchette

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Action folded around to Andrew Touchette on the button, and he moved all in for his last 765,000. The small blind got out of the way, leaving it to Vladas Tamasauskas in the big blind, who took a moment before making the call.

Andrew Touchette: A9All in
Vladas Tamasauskas: Q10

Tamasauskas picked up a flush draw on the J72 flop, but the 9 turn and 3 river provided no more help, securing the double for Touchette.

Lipman Exits in Brutal Fashion

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Hai Nguyen raised to 260,000 in early position and Neal Lipman three-bet to 700,000 on the button. Nguyen then four-bet jammed to put Lipman, who had about 1,300,000 behind, at risk. Lipman quickly called.

Neal Lipman: AA All in
Hai Nguyen: KK

It was the dream scenario for Lipman, but quickly turned into a nightmare as the board ran out Q759K, with Nguyen spiking the two-outer on the river.

Chudapal's Aces Hold On

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Action was folded to Siarhei Chudapal in the cutoff, who raised to 300,000, leaving himself just 120,000 behind. Yudai Futai in the big blind made the call.

The flop came 68Q and after Chudapal checked, Futai tossed out enough to put him all in. Chudapal snap-called.

Siarhei Chudapal: AAAll in
Yudai Futai: J9

The flop had given Futai some outs and he was calling for a "Ten!" on the turn or river. No such luck when the 5 and 4 completed the board. Chudapal doubled up.

Suckout for Hunsucker

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Stephen Hubbard began the hand with a raise from the hijack before Michael Hunsucker jammed from the cutoff. Hubbard promptly called when the action folded to him to set up a showdown.

Michael Hunsucker: 99All in
Stephen Hubbard: 1010

Hubbard had Hunsucker in trouble with a better pocket pair, but just as Hunsucker got up to pack up, the flop came 7J9 to give Hunsucker a flopped set of nines. Hubbard still had outs, however, with any eight or ten giving him a better hand.

The J turn gave Hunscuker a full house, but did give Hubbard a chance to counterfeit the full house with an additional jack. The 5 peeled off, which ended the hand, and awarded Hunsucker the double.
