Action went heads-up to a flop of 8♥8♣2♣ in a hand between Matthew Bode in the hijack and Abhishek Mhatre in the big blind.

With about 550,000 in the middle, Mhatre check-called a bet of 100,000 from Bode, bringing the K♠ turn.

Mhatre checked again and Bode fired out a bet of 300,000. Mahtre called and both players checked on the 10♣ river.

Mhatre tabled 6♠6♦ for two pair, eights and sixes and Bode mucked.

Parent flopped additional outs when the board came 7♣10♥J♣, but the 3♥ turn took away some of those outs as it gave Crochemore a flush draw.

The 10♦ river completed the board and awarded Chrochemore a needed double-up to stay in the tournament.

A pretty nasty flop of J♥A♣2♥ for Kerrien and he needed help. None was forthcoming when the 7♥ came on the turn, and he was drawing dead. The K♦ on the river sealed the deal, and Kerrien was sent to the rail.

Brett Horton raised to 250,000 under the gun and Paul Heath flatted in middle position. Alexander Gittings then three-bet all in from the big blind, prompting Horton to ask for a count.

After the dealer confirmed that the bet was 1,370,000, Horton tossed his cards into the muck.

"Good bet, very close," said Heath after deciding to give up his hand as well.

Joseph Brumpacheco opened the action under the gun with a raise to 190,000. Ricky Lee, short-stacked in middle position, moved all in for his last 135,000. Action folded around to Shuaiyan Tan in the big blind, who made the call, and a three-way pot developed.

Brumpacheco and Tan both checked down the 5♥5♦9♥ flop, the 2♦ turn, and the 5♣ river, taking things to showdown.

Lee turned over 8♠8♦ for a full house, fives full of eights, enough to lock up the main pot and stay alive.

Brumpacheco revealed A♥Q♠ for ace high and a shot for the side pot, but Tan tabled A♦2♥, her full house fives full of deuces, earning her the 210,000 side pot.

Crochemore pulled ahead further on the J♣6♦7♠ flop, pairing his jack but Parent still had outs with a gutshot.

The 9♦ landed on the turn and the 5♣ rolled off on the river, giving Parent a straight to keep him alive.
