Michael Dwyer and Tyler Montoya were heads-up in a pot that saw the flop of 965 hit the felt. Within seconds, the two players had all of their chips in the middle with Dwyer being the player at risk for around 28,000.

Michael Dwyer: JJAll in
Tyler Montoya: 87

Montoya flopped a straight against the overpair of Dwyer who was left drawing slim. The A and 4 runout left Montoya with the nuts as Dwyer departed and wished the table good luck.

Montoya is one of the few millionaires to be crowned at the 2025 WSOP in Las Vegas thus far, but not because of winning a tournament. Montoya's million-dollar payday came in the form of drawing one of the largest bounties in Event #1. Montoya mentioned that he would increase his summer schedule and added this event as one of the must-plays.
