Corrigan Squeaks In, Now Catching Fire

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jack Corrigan
Jack Corrigan

Jack Corrigan was down to just 15,000 chips on the money bubble and managed to survive the blinds passing by him by getting a shove through. After returning from the break, he quickly doubled up and was now sitting on a stack of 60,000.

Marius Gierse opened to 16,000 from under the gun and Corrigan ripped all in again from the cutoff. The action folded back to Gierse who reluctantly flicked in a chip to call.

The board ran out Q7343 and Corrigan doubled up again, now climbing to nearly 20 big blinds and a chance to make a deep run in this event.
