Boivin Doubles Without an All-In
Level 26
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Andjelko Andrejevic kicked off the action from under the gun with a raise to 160,000. Arnaud Enselme in the cutoff made it 480,000. Thomas Boivin was sitting in the small blind when he four-bet to 1,075,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind.
With the action back to Andrejevic he took his time before he folded. Enselme made sure he understood the raise correctly, went into the tank, but then made the call.
Both players checked through the J♣3♦9♦ flop, the 4♦ turn, and the 3♠. Enselme waited for a long time on the river before checking back.
The dealer announced a showdown, and Boivin tabled A♥Q♦ for ace-high, which seemed enough for Enselme, as his cards found the muck.
