Boivin Catches the River for a Double

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Brandon Sheils raised to 200,000 in the cutoff and Thomas Boivin called from the big blind. The flop came A85 and Boivin check-called a bet of 185,000 from Sheils.

The turn brought the 10 and Boivin check-called another bet of 365,000 from Sheils. The 9 completed the board and Boivin checked for the third time. Sheils shoved all in and Boivin instantly called off his stack of 765,000. Sheils turned over A8 for two pair but Boivin had 103 for a rivered flush.

"Maybe I should have checked," Sheils said to himself after the hand.
