Worst End of Day Possible for Meunier

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Clement Meunier
Clement Meunier

Ludovic Uzan opened to 40,000 from under the gun and was called by Brandon Sheils in the cutoff. Clement Meunier in the small blind raised all-in for 535,000, then Uzan jammed for 530,000, prompting Sheils to fold.

Ludovic Uzan: 99 All in
Clement Meunier: 88

Uzan's nines held all the way through a board of Q52JJ and he doubled up while Meunier was left with a single chip worth 5,000.

On the next hand, Sheils raised to 40,000, Meunier moved all-in from the button and Uzan defended from the big blind.

Sheils continued for 20,000 on the 2104 flop but Uzan check-raised to 100,000. Sheils called, but folded to a 200,000 bet on the 3 turn.

Clement Meunier: 106 All in
Ludovic Uzan: J6

Uzan just had jack high while Meunier flopped a pair. The Q completed the board and Meunier was back to 40,000, almost the starting stack.

One last hand was dealt and Meunier shoved from the cutoff. Patrik Jaros on the button raised to 60,000 and made everybody fold.

Clement Meunier: KQ All in
Patrik Jaros: Q7

Meunier was on his way to double up for the second time, but a seven on 9A1078 dashed his hopes of Day 3 and he was eliminated.

Pecheux Extends his Lead

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After winning a big pot to climb to 2,600,000, Erwann Pecheux opened to 25,000 from the button and was called by both players in the blinds.

All three of them checked the JK9 flop leading to the 5 where the blinds checked again. Pecheux bet 75,000 and Joey Couden in the small blind was the only one to call.

The 9 river completed the board. Coudey checked and Pecheux moved all-in. Coudey went into the tank for a few seconds and called off his last 240,000.

Pecheux flipped over J6 for a flush. Upon seeing the hand, Couden mucked and was eliminated.

Shoreman Finds a Double KO

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Jon Shoreman
Jon Shoreman

Samad Rashid raised it up from the cutoff and was called by Daniel Dangoor on the button and Jon Shoreman in the big blind. An action flop of J94 hit the felt and the players quickly got all of their chips in the middle.

Samad Rashid: QJAll in
Daniel Dangoor: KQAll in
Jon Shoreman: A5

Shoreman had the two shorter stacks covered and Rashid started cheering for a clean runout.

"Deuce of hearts! Deuce of hearts!" he shouted as the 5 hit the turn but the 3 rolled off on the river. "F*** me! F***me man! You guys have each other's blockers!"

Both Dangoor and Shoreman rivered a flush but it was Shoreman who had the best one, sending both of his opponents to the payout desk.
