Jack Corrigan was down to just 15,000 chips on the money bubble and managed to survive the blinds passing by him by getting a shove through. After returning from the break, he quickly doubled up and was now sitting on a stack of 60,000.

Marius Gierse opened to 16,000 from under the gun and Corrigan ripped all in again from the cutoff. The action folded back to Gierse who reluctantly flicked in a chip to call.
