Kabrhel Stays Alive

Martin Kabrhel raised to 17,500 from under the gun, leaving just 500 chips behind. Oleg Vasylchenko called on the button and the blinds got out of the way. The flop came J♦4♥3♣ and Kabrhel checked to Vasylchenko who bet the minimum. Kabrhel called and the cards were face up.

"Casino Royale!" Kabrhel exclaimed after seeing that he was ahead. The Czech Joker started cheering for an ace which would also keep him in the lead. The turn was the 5♠ and the river was the A♥ which got an even louder eruption out of Kabrhel.

Matthew Su just sat down before the break and returned to a stack of 45,000. Su shoved all in from under the gun and Nicholas Peterson reshoved all in for 99,000 in the small blind. Cary Katz asked for a count and then called from the big blind.

The board ran out clean for Peterson's pocket aces who eliminated Su and doubled through Katz on the first hand after the break.

The 9♦ river was followed by another check from Kempson, and an all-in bet from Thiriart for Kempson's remaining 85,000. Kempson made the call showing 10♥10♣, which was no good against the A♥J♥ of Thiriart.

The flop of Q♥3♦K♠ opened a straight draw for Rich, who was looking for one of the two remaining tens. Zaharagi picked up a straight draw of his own with the J♥ turn, and it was completed on the A♥ river, sending Rich to the rail.
