The flop came 9♣8♦7♣ and both players checked.

Mahmood bet 16,000 on the A♠ turn. Lonis called.

Both players checked once again on the 4♦ river.

Mahmood showed Q♦8♦ which was good.

Natasha Mercier just entered the field at the start of the day but has continued to build her stack throughout, sitting among the chip leaders as the money bubble approaches. Facing a raise to 12,000 from Ezequiel Waigel in the hijack, Mercier just flat-called on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of K♥10♦2♦ and both players checked to the 10♠ on the turn.

Waigel tossed in a bet of 27,000 and Mercier called to see the 2♠ on the river. Both players tapped the table again and Mercier flipped over 9♠9♣ for the best hand.

Funaro Takes From Ripnick

Four-way on a flop of 2♣7♥3♣, John Ripnick in the small blind bet 12,000 but Frank Funaro in the big blind raised to 28,000. Francois Pirault in the hijack and Ludovic Uzan in the cutoff folded, but Ripnick made the call.

Funaro fired a second barrel of 35,000 on the 7♣ turn. Ripnick check-called then went deep into the tank after Funaro bet 182,000 on the 10♠ river. After a long moment, Ripnick eventually folded.

The flop came 4♦3♦3♠ and both players checked. The turn brought the 9♦, and Chen checked. Farrell then bet 8,000 and Chen folded.

Farrell, who had just been moved to this table, told the players "I'll give you an idea of how my day has been going", before turning over the A♥A♣.

Krentzman Finds a Consolation Prize on the River

Ali Shahni raised to 10,000 from under the gun and was called by Evan Krentzman on his left along with both of the blinds. Four players went to the flop of 10♥6♥3♣ and the action checked to Krentzman who bet 15,000. Alisson Piekazewicz was the only player to call from the big blind.

The turn was the J♠ and Piekazewicz check-called another bet of 50,000 from Krentzman. The Q♦ hit the river and Piekazewicz checked one more time. Krentzman threw in a bet of 75,000 and Piekazewicz looked him up. Krentzman turned over A♥Q♥ for a rivered pair and that was good enough to win the pot.

Zizka Gets Value from Maue

Zdenek Zizka raised to 10,000 in the hijack. Leonard Maue, who holds one of the largest stacks in the room, called in the small blind, and Daniel Dangoor also called in the big blind.

The flop came 9♦7♠3♥, and all players checked. The K♣ fell on the turn, and the three players checked again.

On the 7♥ river, action checked to Zizka who bet 8,000. Maue thought for a while before calling, and Dangoor folded.

Zizka showed K♥Q♦, and that won him the pot. Luckily for Maue, that hardly did a dent in his stack that is well above chip average.
