Mustapha Kanit opened to 160,000 from under the gun and was called by Andjelko Andrejevic on his left and Niall Farrell in the big blind. The flop came A♠9♠5♠ and Kanit continued with a bet of 130,000. Andrejevic called and Farrell got out of the way.

The turn was the K♥ and Kanit put together another bet of 340,000. Andrejevic still called and the 8♥ landed on the river. Kanit checked this time and Andrejevic pushed out a bet of 1,030,000, leaving just a single chip behind. Kanit thought for a moment but then dumped his cards into the muck.

The pot stood at around 700,000, and the board showed 4♣3♦6♠K♥ when Renan Bruschi in the small blind checked to Niall Farrell, who bet 480,000. Bruschi took his time before making the call.

Bruschi checked the 4♠ river once more, and Farrell went into the tank before going all in, covering Bruschi and putting him at risk if he decides to call. Now it was Bruschi's time to go into the tank, as he thought about his decision for almost three minutes.

In the end, he folded, giving up the decent pot to Farrell.

In the first hand, Lars Kamphues opened the action with a raise to 100,000 from under the gun. Marius Gierse, sitting in the cutoff, responded with a three-bet to 240,000. Kamphues came back with a four-bet, and Gierse quickly moved all in. Kamphues made the call, and the cards were on their backs.

Kanit had a decision to make for his remaining 940,000 chips and eventually made the call after nearly two minutes. Uzan tabled 7♣2♣ for a missed straight and flush draw while Kanit held K♣J♠ for two pair to score a double up.

Arnaud Enselme kicked things off from middle position with a raise to 80,000 and found callers in Patrik Jaros in the cutoff and Mustapha Kanit in the small blind.

On the 3♥2♣A♦ flop, Kanit and Enselme checked, and Jaros bet 80,000, which only Enselme called.

Enselme also checked the Q♥ turn, and Jaros continued for 180,000, which Enselme again called.

Both players opted to check the 3♣ river, leading to a showdown. Enselme showed A♠10♣ for a pair of aces, and Jaros' cards found the muck.
