Sevens No Good

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

PokerNews joined the table when Mustapha Kanit went all in from under the gun. Arnaud Enselme had already committed 550,000 to the pot and had just 90,000 behind. He went deep into the tank, one shy away from the pay jump. When a dealer announced "Payout!" at one of the other tables, his stack went in the middle, and the cards went on their backs.

Arnaud Enselme: A7All in
Mustapha Kanit: 77

The flop ran out Q109, giving Enselme plenty of outs. The turn showed the A for a better pair and no sweat on the K as Enselme's pair of aces still held strong.

Slobodskoy Sends Wang to the Rail

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

After some raise and three-bet action, Naor Slobodskoy moved all in, and Michael Wang found himself with nearly his entire stack already committed, holding onto just around 60,000 behind. With the pay jump in sight, Wang took a moment before deciding to call, and the cards were turned up.

Michael Wang: 66All in
Naor Slobodskoy: QQ

Wang needed help to overcome Slobodskoy’s queens, but the J47 flop gave him nothing. The 8 on the turn opened up some straight possibilities, but the 4 river sealed his fate, and Wang hit the rail.

Small one for Boivin

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The board showed 10J98 and the pot stood at around 210,000, when Thomas Boivin in the big blind checked to Anthony Zinno. He bet out 105,000, prompting a call from Boivin.

Boivin checked the 3 river again, and this time Zinno quickly checked back. Boivin tabled K7 for a small straight, and Zinno double-checked if he could beat this, but his cards found the muck, and Boivin scooped the pot.
