Blum Breaks an Eight, Gets There

Level 9

Daniel Blum, Qinghai Pan, and Nathan Gamble each put in three bets before the first draw. Gamble and Blum drew two, Pan opted for one. Gamble and Blum checked, Pan bet, Gamble called, Blum raised, Pan called, and Gamble called.

Gamble drew one on the second draw, Blum stood pat, and Pan drew one. Gamble checked, Blum bet, Pan raised, Gamble cold-called, and Blum muttered under his breath before sliding in a call after about fifteen seconds.

Gamble drew one on the final draw and Blum took the better part of thirty seconds before drawing one as well. Pan stood pat.

Gamble checked, Blum bet, Pan called, and Gamble folded. Blum fanned out Number Two 7x6x4x3x2x and Pan mucked.

"I broke an eight," Blum said after the hand.
