Everett Carlton raised first to act and just behind him, James Minghini made it three bets to go. Action folded back to Carlton, who called.

Both players drew one on the first draw and then Carlton check-called a bet from Minghini.

Carlton and Minghini requested one again on the second draw and action checked through.

On the final draw, Carlton stood pat and Minghini drew one. Minghini called a bet from Carlton, who showed 8x5x4x3x2x for an eight-five. Minghini tossed his cards into the muck and Carlton was sent the pot.

Late registration in this record-breaking field is open until the end of this level, and one of the players making a fashionable late entry is Michael Moncek. From the big blind, he got involved in a pot with cutoff Carol Fuchs straight away.

Moncek drew three on the first draw and Fuchs drew one. Moncek then check-called a bet before drawing two on the second draw. Fuchs stood pat and got 'Texas Mike' to fold after firing another bet.

Robbi Jade Lew limped on the button and Keegan Mccann raised from the small blind. Liam Gannon made it three bets to go from the big blind, which got a fold from Lew and a call from Mccann.

Both players drew one on the first draw and Mccann checked to Gannon, who bet. Mccann then check-raised and Gannon called.

Mccann stood pat on the second draw and Gannon took one off. Gannon then called a bet from Mccann.

Both players stood pat on the final draw and Mccann bet. Gannon announced a raise and Mccann quickly called.

"Wheel," Gannon said as he fanned out 7x5x4x3x2x.

Mccann showed he held 7x6x5x4x2x for a seven before mucking his cards.

"Dammit! If I knew you had that I would have raised before!" Gannon said as he collected the pot.
