Peterson Pipped

Level 12

With his final chips in the middle, Zachary Peterson was all in and at risk against Todd Bui and Simon Levy. With limited side action, the hands were tabled and Bui's 9x8x5x4x2x bested Levy's ten for the side pot.

Peterson showed 5x4x3x2x before sweating the final card. Without looking, he flipped it open but came up short with the 10x.

"Ah man, you got pipped," Jason Lipiner said.

Filippi Folds to Mueller

Level 13

Amnon Filippi raised from the cutoff and Greg Mueller defended his big blind.

Mueller drew three and Filippi took two off. Mueller then checked.

"How many did you draw?" Filippi asked.

"Three," Mueller responded.

"Okay, then I've gotta bet," Filippi said as he put a bet in. Mueller called.

Both players drew two on the second round and Mueller led out for a bet.

Filippe slammed AxJx face up on the table and mucked his hand.

"This was my smooth draw," Mueller said as he revealed 7x4x2x and collected the pot.

Chip Leader Kerbel Continues to Climb

Level 13
Jay Kerbel
Jay Kerbel

Jay Kerbel raised from the hijack and was called by Shunjiro Uchida on the button. Christopher Bond three-bet from the big blind and both Kerbel and Uchida called.

Bond drew one while Kerbel and Uchida drew two on the first draw. Bond continued for a bet, which got a call from Kerbel and a raise from Uchida. Bond called all in and Kerbel called as well.

Everyone drew one on the second draw and Kerbel led out for a bet, which Uchida called.

On the final draw, Bond and Uchida drew one while Kerbel stood pat. Action checked through and Kerbel tabled 9x7x4x3x2x. Both Bond and Uchida mucked — eliminating Bond and sending the large pot Kerbel's direction.

Bloch Doubles His Short Stack

Level 14

Andy Bloch raised from the cutoff and was three-bet by Yegor Tsurikov on the button. Action folded back to Bloch, who called.

Bloch drew one and Tsurikov drew two on the first draw. Bloch then bet his last 4,000 and Tsurikov called to put him at risk.

On the second draw, Bloch drew one and Tsurikov stood pat.

Bloch stood pat on the end and Tsurikov weighed his option before deciding to stay pat as well.

Bloch turned over 8x7x5x4x2x and Tsurikov mucked his hand upon seeing it — awarding Bloch the much-needed double-up.
