The turn brought about one of the potential backdoor opportunities, as the dealer revealed the Q♠.

James Casement raised under the gun to 180,000, and action folded around to Namir Mohamed in the big blind. Mohamed elected to three-bet to 455,000 and Casement called.

Mohamed continued with a bet of 500,000 on the Q♠7♣4♠ flop, and was met with an immediate raise to 1,000,000 from Casement.

It didn't take long for Mohamed to cede, returning his cards to the dealer.

Lonny Weitzel raised to 225,000 in early position, and action folded around to Glen Clementi in the big blind. Clementi three-bet to 560,000, and after taking a little bit of time, Weitzel four-bet all in, which Clementi snap-called.

Weitzel turned his cards over first, and Clementi quipped, "That's no good", implying he had a better hand.

Clementi then called for the dealer to put some spades out on the board, in the hope of hitting a flush.

One player would get the opportunity of a four-card flush, but it wasn't Clementi, as the flop came out 7♥Q♥8♥.

The turn 4♠ kept Clementi safe, but the river 2♥ saw Weitzel take the lead with a flush, sending Clementi to the rail in 24th place.

It was the end of the road for Sammy Farha when he went against Martin Kohler in a pot. Kohler began the action with a limp from early position before Farha jammed for his remaining 450,000. The table folded around back to Kohler, who opted to call.

Farha had a dominant lead over Kohler, but the 3♣9♠6♣ flop was a dangerous one as it gave Kohler a flush draw.

Kohler didn't have to wait long to hit his out as the A♣ turn put an end to Farha's tournament as the meaningless 5♠ came on the river. Farha earned $14,461 for his effort.
