Chinese Superteam Chipping up
A total of nine Team Zhangs have entered the tag team, seven of which are currently still with chips in play. That being said, there is one that is certainly a cut above the rest.
With five WSOP bracelets between them, and over an incredible $8,000,000 in live earnings, Yang Zhang and Xixiang Luo are certainly a force to be reckoned with. The latter, who is currently playing, is sitting with more than two starting stacks in front of him, which him and his partner will certainly be putting to good use down the line.
Zhang's last bracelet came in the 2018 WSOP Europe, and is yet to find another, having final tabled just once, last year, since that series. He has cashed five times already here in 2025, but will be hoping to replicate the success of his partner, who is fresh off the back of a bracelet win in Event #: $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot - 8-Handed.
