Day 2 of $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em Begins at 11 a.m.
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #65: $1,000 Tag Team No-Limit Hold'em at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), taking place at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas.
A total of 1,373 teams entered on Day 1, building an impressive $1,208,240 prize pool. The eventual winners will claim $184,780 — that’s $92,390 each — and a coveted WSOP bracelet for each team member in this unique tag team format.
Day 2 is set to begin at 11 a.m. with 276 teams returning to the felt. Only 206 will make the money, meaning the bubble is expected to burst early as teams battle for a spot in the payouts.
Team Seguin currently tops the field with 436,000 in chips. Louis Seguin, who recently cashed in the Battle of the Ages earlier this week, is continuing his strong run. He’s followed by Team Roeder with 336,000 and Team Ghane with 322,000.
While everyone in the top ten is no stranger to the WSOP, it appears that only Benny Chen of Team Liang and Kacper Pyzara of Team Pyzara currently hold bracelets.

Action resumes at Level 12 with blinds of 1,000/2,500/2,500. The day will consist of 11 levels, each lasting 60 minutes. There are no scheduled breaks aside from color-ups, as the tag team format allows one player to rest while the other is at the table. The player who bagged chips at the end of the previous night must be the one to start play at noon.
