It was the second time in quick succession that Hong had been all in with ace-five, the second time his teammate Michael Hauptman had called for an ace, and the second time that they had hit top pair, as the 7♠Q♦A♦ flop put them in good stead to stay alive. The K♦ turn was the sweatiest card in the deck, as Mahmouki picked up a Royal Flush draw. He wouldn't hit it, but the J♣ for a straight was enough as he and teammate Samy Boujmala celebrated together.
