Oliver Summons Ace on the River

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Justin Oliver moved all in from late position for roughly 450,000 and was at risk against Peter Bigelow on the button, who made the call.

Justin Oliver: AK All in
Peter Bigelow: Q10

Things weren’t looking good for Oliver as the dealer spread the Q688 on the table. Before the river came, Oliver began shaking his Ace, summoning a Barry Greenstein–type aura. The dealer obliged, dropping the A on the river to keep Oliver’s hopes alive. Bigelow grinned and joked, “That’s not fair, you can’t shake the Ace,” prompting laughter around the table. Another tablemate chimed in, “Good thing you didn’t shake the King, then you’d be drawing dead.”

Elia Loves Those Ladies

Level 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Vincent Elia raised to 200,000 from under the gun, and action was folded to Charlton Hawes on the button, who called.

The flop came KQ3 and the action went check-check. The dealer turned the 10 and now Elia bet out for 125,000, which Hawes called.

The J came on the river, and now Elia slowed down and checked. Hawes pushed out a hefty bet of 410,000, and this sent Elia into the tank and after 2-3 minutes, he called tabling QQ for a flopped set, and Hawes mucked his cards.
