New Eliminations

Level 36 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Richards' Rollercoaster Ride

Level 36 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Mikhaile Richards found herself one player away from a $2,200 pay jump, as she went into the tank from under the gun. Eventually, a player at the table called the clock, and with just a few seconds left, she put in a min-raise, leaving just 1,700,000 behind. Action folded around to Ken Takayama in the big blind, who shoved, and Richards returned to the tank. After hearing "Payout!" from another table, she put in the call.

Mikhaile Richards: A8 All in
Ken Takayama: A6

As it turned out, she would have survived after all, as the two players chopped up dead money on the AK107Q runout.

The very next hand, she open shoved under the gun. Roland Israelashvili isolated two doors down, and the two were off to a flip.

Mikhaile Richards: AK All in
Roland Israelashvili: JJ

Israelashvili held on the 347Q4 runout, and Richards left with a smile on her face.

Flush on the River for Kulbe

Level 36 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

After the clock was called on him, Jared Ward shoved for 300,000 from under the gun. Lucas Kulbe in the small blind called the big blind. Kyungkeun Lee didn't see this action so he wanted to fold but checked his option.

Kulbe bet 800,000 on the 984 flop and Lee folded.

Jared Ward: 94 All in
Lucas Kulbe: 85

Ward flopped two pair but Kulbe had a flush draw. The 6 changed nothing, but the 10 river completed the flush and Ward was eliminated.

Level 35 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Ken Takayama

Upon returning from break, the tournament floor made an announcement that due to the amount of tanking and the frequency of clock being called, they would be diminishing the countdown to 20 seconds for anyone who has had clock called on them before.

Ken Takayama raised to 2,500,000 from the small blind and Oscar Arndt made the call.

Takayama took about a minute-thirty before cutting out 1,500,000. Arndt called.

The turn brought the Q and after another long deliberation, Takayama checked, as did his opponent.

The river completed with the 9, completing another straight draw and Takayama bet 3,500,000 who was snap-called by Arndt.

Takayama tabled 87 for the low end of the straight and Arndt tabled 98 for the exact same straight causing the dealer to chop the pot between the two.

Kulbe Avoids Showdown

Level 35 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Ramond Takhsh opened up the action from early position with a raise to 1,800,000. Lucas Kulbe in the hijack was his only caller.

The two went off to a flop of KJ3 and Takhsh continued for 1,700,000. Kulbe put in the call, bringing in the 7 turn. Yet again, Takhsh bet and Kulbe called, except this time it was for 2,500,000. For the first time in the hand, Takhsh slowed down and checked the 7 river. Kulbe put out 4,500,000, which got a fold from Takhsh.
