Pablo Roman's river bet of 14,400, about half the pot, seemed suspicious to Kevin Latta, who said the call he was about to make was a tough one.
"I wish I were a pro," he said.

To his dismay, Roman tabled 10♠9♠, having hit a runner-runner spade flush to beat the straight Latta made on the turn with his 7♣5♣.
