Martirosian led out with a bet of 200,000 after making two pair and Boika called after hitting his nine. The river was the 4♦ and Martirosian reached back for a large bet of 750,000 but Boika made the correct laydown.

Martirosian continued his aggression with a 450,000 bet on the 2♠5♣2♥ flop.

Boika called the flop bet to bring in the 8♣ turn.

Martirosian checked the turn before Boika pushed out 750,000 to elicit a fold from Martirosian and end the hand.

Boika checked again and Martirosian opted to check back his seven-high. The J♣ paired the board on the river and Boika checked for the third time. Martirosian finally took a stab with a bet of 75,000 but Boika looked him up with just ace-high.

Boika continued with a pot-sized bet of 400,000 and Martirosian called to see the 6♠ on the turn. Boika checked this time and Martirosian quickly checked it back.

The Q♥ paired the board on the river and Boika checked again. Martirosian dropped in a bet of 600,000 which forced Boika to use two of his time banks before calling. Martirosian showed the best hand and brought the matchup closer to even.
