Nali Phommavong opened to 3,000 from cutoff and got a three-bet from Seina Asagiri to 6,000 in cutoff. Elfin Lin in the big blind called. Phommavong, however, decided to four-bet shove for 23,400 pushing Asagiri out of the way. Lin asked for a count then made the call taking them to showdown.

The flop dropped 3♠Q♠Q♦ which maintained Lin's lead. Phommavong could still turn things around if she hit one of her cards on the board but the runout 4♣9♦ didn't help her at all. Phommavong left the table as the pot was pushed towards Lin.

The river was the 5♦ and after another check from Stangis, Konnikova bet 15,000, with just a few chips behind. Stangis announced all in and Konnikova snap-called with J♦9♥, but Stangis took down the pot with 9♠8♣ for trips. Konnikova announced she was going to reenter the event.
