Johansson Catches Perfect Against Wasserson

Level 14 : Limits 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Oscar Johansson
Oscar Johansson

Eric Wasserson raised on the button and Oscar Johansson called in the small blind.

Both players drew two. Johansson then led out with a bet, Wasserson raised, and Johansson called.

Johansson drew one and Wasserson stood pat and bet. Johansson called and drew one more, while Wasserson again patted.

Johansson then put out a bet, sending Wasserson deep into the tank. A minute went by before he called, placing his chips directly in front of Johansson and already suspecting he was beat.

His instincts proved correct as Johansson turned over 7x5x4x3x2x for a wheel. "I have two sevens and you catch a seven," Wasserson muttered in frustration as he was left on a short stack.
