Milgrom Takes Out Kakani

Level 21

2-7 Triple Draw

Bhargav Kakani raised all-in for 24,000 first to act and was called by Nicolas Milgrom in the small blind and John Cipriano in the big blind.

Milgrom drew three, Cipriano drew no less than four cards, and Kakani drew two. Milgrom led and Cipriano folded.

Both took one on the second draw. Milgrom took one on the end and Kakani stood pat.

Bhargav Kakani: 8x7x6x3x2x All in
Nicolas Milgrom: 7x6x4x2x

Kakani had a made eight-seven against the seven draw of Milgrom. Kakani was better than a five-one favorite to triple-up until Milgrom peeled a 5x on the end to make number four to eliminate Kakani.

Lipiner Doubles His Short Stack Through Sandvik

Level 21
Jason Lipiner
Jason Lipiner

No-Limit Hold'em

Espen Sandvik opened from under the gun and Jason Lipiner three-bet to 48,000 on the button — leaving himself a single t-1,000 chip behind.

It was folded back to Sandvik, who shoved to put Lipiner all in. Lipiner used up as much time as he could with a pending pay jump before the clock was called. Lipiner called all in at the last moment and a showdown was held.

Jason Lipiner: AKAll in
Espen Sandvik: KJ

Lipiner found himself in great shape with Big Slick, and the A7532 runout needlessly improved him to a pair of aces for the double up.
