Zulker Doubles Back into Contention

Michael Zulker opened to 1,400,000 from the button and Michael Wang potted from the big blind. Zulker, who started the hand with 4,700,000, called and was at risk.

The board ran out 2♦K♣2♥A♣7♣. Wang was ahead with nines on the flop but Zulker turned aces up and remained ahead on the river to secure the double up.

Michael Wang limped in from the small blind with K♥J♦9♦8♣ and Michael Zulker raised to 1,500,000 in the big blind with A♠A♥9♥7♣. Wang just called and they headed to a flop of K♠J♠8♥.

Wang started with a check and Zulker stuck in a bet of 1,100,000. Wang check-raised the pot to 6,800,000 with his three pair and Zulker contemplated his decision for a couple of minutes before throwing his cards into the muck.

Michael Wang raised to 1,500,000 on the button with A♥Q♣J♠3♠ and Quan Zhou called from the big blind holding Q♠J♣8♦7♣. The flop fell 10♦9♥4♦ and both players checked to the 7♠ on the turn.

Zhou led out with a large bet of 2,800,000, having already made a straight, and Wang dumped his straight draw into the muck.

Following that, Wang limped in from the small blind with A♠A♥Q♣6♥ and Michael Zulker checked his option with J♠8♣6♦4♣. The flop came 10♠8♠6♣ and Wang check-called a bet of 800,000 from Zulker.

The turn brought the 9♠ and both players checked to the 3♦ on the river. Wang turned his hand into a bluff with a bet of 2,500,000 and Zulker ditched his two pair into the muck.

Both players checked the 3♥4♣2♥ flop leading to the 3♦ turn. Zhou check-called a 750,000 bet from Wang.

On the J♠ river Zhou checked, Wang bet 3,000,000 and Zhou called. Zhou had a wheel straight with A♦10♣9♠5♦ but Wang had a full house with K♣Q♣3♣2♦ to take the pot.

Zhou checked to Wang who continued with a bet of 2,400,000 and Zhou just called to see the 9♦ pair the board on the turn. Zhou checked again and Wang sized up a bet of 3,300,000. Zhou deliberated for a minute but decided to make big lay down.
