Erik Nordstrand opened the action with a raise to 300,000 and Simeon Tsonev called on the button. Michael Zulker then potted to 1,600,000 in the small blind for most of his chips and Nordstrand potted over the top, Tsonev reluctantly folded.

The J♣10♥8♣ flop gave the already leading Nordstrand the queen-high straight but the 9♥ turn saw the tides of fortune shift. Nothing then changed on the 4♠ river and Zulker doubled for 1,830,000.
