Who Will Capture the Title in $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship?
In the ever-growing popular game of Pot-Limit Omaha, a record number of 874 entries were recorded in Event #74: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship. A prize pool of $8,128,200 was generated and the lion's share is still up for grabs with just seven players returning to the felt on the fourth and final day of this event, in the hopes of capturing World Series of Poker glory.
Only two of the remaining players have had the great pleasure of receiving a WSOP gold bracelet in their careers. Three-time bracelet winner and considered one of the best players on the planet, Alex Foxen, will have his work cut out for him as he returns to the shortest stack of 2,725,000, good enough for just over ten big blinds. Foxen already has a runner-up finish this summer in the $250,000 Super High Roller where he pocketed over $3 million, but a place in the history books with another WSOP title will be his main driving factor.
Michael Wang is the only other player at the table who has the experience of winning a WSOP title, having done it twice himself. Coming into the final day, Wang will be looking for a much smoother path to the finish compared to the roller coaster that he experienced on Day 3. Wang was down to less than one big blind at one point in the day, and also held the chip lead for a very brief moment en route to bagging up 8,025,000 chips, good enough for third place.

Rounding out the rest of the field is Sean Rafael, Javier Francort, Michael Zulker, and Melad Marji who will all be searching for their first victory on the WSOP stage. That stage will be set under the bright lights in the Horseshoe Events Center with the action getting underway at 2 p.m. local time. Each player has locked up at least $182,983 to this point but will have their sights set on the first-place prize of $1,394,579.
