Rast Chops With Geilich

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Brian Rast was already all in preflop and looked up by three opponents as the flop fell AKQ. It was checked to Ludovic Geilich on the button who bet 12,800. That forced the other contenders and Geilich locked up the side pot of 17,400 already.

Brian Rast: AK94 All in
Ludovic Geilich: AK83

Both had the same top two pair while Geilich held the spade flush draw on top. Nothing changed on the 10 turn and Q river as they chopped the main pot.

Kempton Takes From Nordstrand

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

With 6,000 in the middle to the AQ62 turn, Isaac Kempton bet 4,500 and then called a raise to 16,000 by Erik Nordstrand. They both checked the A on the river and Kempton flipped over his AQ104 for the nuts, aces full of queens.

Harder Doubles Through Geeng

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

There was a pot of 36,500 with three players still in the hand and the flop of Q52 hit the felt. Christian Harder bet the size of the pot and Geeng just called, leading to Daemon Richardson folding his hand.

The turn was the 2 and Harder threw in his last 19,000 chips. Geeng quickly called and the cards were on their backs.

Christian Harder: 6554All in
Daniel Geeng: AK43

Harder filled up on the turn but Geeng still had a single out to make a straight flush. The river was the 10 and Harder held on for a double-up.

Le Eliminated by Barbero

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Nacho Barbero
Nacho Barbero

Tommy Le got his shorter stack into the middle on the flop of J95 and was called by Nacho Barbero with the covering stack.

Tommy Le: KK74 All in
Nacho Barbero: KQJ6

While being ahead with his overpair, Le had to dodge a lot of outs as Barbero had a pair, flush draw and gutshot. Nothing changed on the A turn just yet but the 10 river gave Barbero broadway. Le has won this Championship Event two times already but won't be adding a third title in 2025, while his brother Allan Le has an above-average stack in the penultimate level of the night.
