Roussos Koliakoudakis raised it up on the button and John Monnette three-bet shoved all in for around 125,000 in the small blind. Koliakoudakis quickly called to put Monnette at risk.
John Monnette: K♣J♠J♥8♠
Roussos Koliakoudakis: A♣K♥K♦9♣
The flop fell 9♦6♠3♥ which provided no real help to anyone, leaving Monnette searching for a jack. The 4♦ and A♥ runout bricked out and Monnette was eliminated.
Isaac Kempton raised it up from the hijack and Eric Cloutier reraised the pot out of the small blind. Kempton called and Cloutier stuck in his last 44,000 chips blind. The flop came J♦10♦6♣ and Kempton quickly called, stating it was a good flop for him.
Eric Cloutier: A♠A♥6♠5♦
Isaac Kempton: Q♥J♣10♣9♦
Kempton flopped two pair and turned a full house on the 10♠ turn card. The river was the 4♥ and Cloutier headed for the payout desk.
Javier Francort limped from middle position and Kyle Ho called from the hijack. Isaac Kempton made it 88,000 to go from the cutoff, which Francort and Ho called.
Three players saw the dealer put out a flop of 8♣A♠8♠. The action checked to Kempton, and he bet 75,000. This was enough to get Francort and Ho to fold, and the pot was pushed to Kempton.
Jorryt van Hoof raised to 56,000 from under the gun and was called by Mike Gorodinsky on the button only. The flop came 8♦3♦3♠ and van Hoof bet 75,000 to claim the pot right there without any further resistance.
After a couple of preflop raises, Robert Mizrachi and Zhengpeng Liu got all of their chips in the middle with Mizrachi at risk for 426,000.
Robert Mizrachi: J♠9♠9♣8♣
Zhengpeng Liu: A♥A♦7♣5♣
The flop came 10♣5♠5♦ and Liu improved to trip fives to hold a commanding lead. However, the Q♣ on the turn gave Mizrachi a wealth of outs and the K♠ on the river was one of them to help him double up.
On a flop of A♣5♠7♠, Dennis Weiss checked from the small blind, and Marcello Del Grosso checked from the big blind. David Paredes bet 45,000 from middle position, which only Weiss called.
The 6♣ fell on the turn and Weiss led out for 56,000. Paredes put in the call.
Weiss chose to check the 7♥ river, and after thinking for quite some time, Paredes checked behind. Weiss revealed a turned straight with 9♠8♠4♣3♦ and Paredes mucked.
Javier Francort made it 42,000 from the cutoff before Melad Marji three-bet to 138,000 from the small blind. Francort called.
Marji bet 24,000 on the K♦Q♣K♥ flop, and Francort made the call.
The 2♦ landed on the turn, and Marji jammed for Francort's remaining 55,000. Francort instantly called.
Javier Francort: K♣Q♠J♠8♦
Melad Marji: A♦K♠9♥8♥
Francort had a boat, and only an ace on the river would end his tournament. The 3♠ river was clean for Francort, and he doubled up at the expense of Marji.
There was a pot-sized raise to 106,000 in front of Brandon Crawford and Erik Nordstrand then reraised the pot to 358,000 in the next seat out of the big blind. Alex Livingston and Gabriel Andrade had folded, and Crawford came to the same conclusion.
Up next, two limps reached to Crawford and he bumped it up to 66,000. Livingston called this time and checked the K♠3♦2♥ flop. Livingston checked it over to Crawford, who bet 54,000 to scoop the pot.
The biggest pot of the tournament just occurred on Table #668.
On a flop of 3♥9♣4♦, Stephen Hubbard, Michael Kuney, and Robert Harrison got all of their chips into the middle with Zhengpeng Liu being the player with the covering stack trying to bust all three.
Michael Kuney: A♥7♣6♣5♣
Robert Harrison: 6♠5♠4♥2♦
Stephen Hubbard: 5♥4♣3♦2♣
Zhengpeng Liu: K♥9♠9♦8♦
Liu had the nuts right now with top set, and was against three wraps from his opponents. The Q♠ on the turn was good for Liu, as no one picked up any backdoor draws. The K♦ landed on the river, which meant Liu's set of nines won him a pot of over two million and sent three players home.
