Thomas Taylor raised to 150,000 from under the gun and was called only by Javier Francort in the small blind. The two active players checked down the Q♠5♠3♠2♣K♠ board to the river on which Francort led for 150,000, Taylor folded.
Robert Mizrachi opened to 130,000 from the cutoff and Erik Nordstrand defended from the big blind.
The flop came K♥J♥10♥ and Nordstrand check-called a 125,000 bet from Mizrachi.
Nordstrand checked again on the 10♦ turn and Mizrachi bet 125,000. Nordstrand check-raised to 425,000 and Mizrachi called.
On the 4♥ river Nordstrand bet the pot, enough to put Mizrachi all-in. Mizrachi went deep into the tank for over five minutes before the clock was called and shortly after Mizrachi called.
Mizrachi had a full house with K♦10♣9♦7♠ but Nordstrand had a king-high straight flush with Q♥10♠9♥7♥ to eliminate Mizrachi in brutal fashion.
Shrey Maheshwary raised to 210,000 from the hijack and action folded to Erik Seidel, who made it 660,000 to go from the big blind. Maheshwary called.
The flop came 10♥7♠5♠ and Seidel bet enough to put Maheshwary all in for a bit under 500,000. Maheshwary quickly called and hands were turned face-up.
Shrey Maheshwary: A♦Q♠9♦2♠
Erik Seidel: A♠A♣10♦9♠
Maheshwary found himself in rough shape against Seidel's aces and dominating flush draw and the 6♣7♥ runout kept Seidel best to eliminate Maheshwary in 22nd place.
In a five-way limped pot, the dealer fanned the flop of Q♠5♥3♠ and the action checked around to Javier Francort on the button who bet 125,000. Stefan Lehner called in early position and Jorryt van Hoof also came along from the cutoff.
The turn brought the 4♥ and Francort fired out another bet of 250,000. Lehner and Van Hoof both called again and the J♥ completed the board. Van Hoof took a turn by leading out with a bet of 450,000 and both Francort and Lehner quickly mucked their cards.
A couple of hands later, Isaac Kempton and Alex Foxen were heads-up in the blinds after Foxen made it 180,000 to go preflop. The flop came K♠K♦7♦ and Kempton check-called a bet of 105,000 from Foxen.
The turn was the 9♦ and both players checked to the 3♠ on the river. Kempton put together a bet of 160,000 and Foxen went into the tank for a minute before looking him up. Kempton turned over Q♦10♦8♠4♣ for a flush and Foxen couldn't beat it.
The action started with a raise to 210,000 by Erik Nordstrand in the cutoff and Quan Zhou called on the button, one of the shorter stacks on the table also came along in Roussos Koliakoudakis out of the big blind. The flop came A♦9♠6♥ and Koliakoudakis checked his option. Nordstrand bet 325,000 to force out Zhou before Koliakoudakis check-jammed for around 790,000 to get called.
Roussos Koliakoudakis: A♥Q♣10♦6♣
Erik Nordstrand: A♠J♥9♣2♠
Koliakoudakis was at risk with the top and bottom two pair against the top two pair of Nordstrand but his remaining cards were clean outs for a possible double. Nothing changed with the 2♦ turn and the 3♣ river spelled the end for Koliakoudakis in 21st place for $54,777.
Sean Rafael opened to 210,000 from under the gun and Ben Lamb defended from the big blind.
The flop came A♥8♦5♦. Lamb shoved for 505,000, and Rafael called with a covering stack to put him at risk.
Ben Lamb: 7♦6♣5♠3♦
Sean Rafael: A♠10♣9♣4♠
Rafael had top pair while Lamb had a combo draw. The 4♣ turn gave Rafael two pair while giving Lamb a straight and Lamb improved to a flush on the J♦ river to double through Rafael.
Stefan Lehner limped from the cutoff and Brandon Crawford did so from the button, Ben Lamb from the small blind called and Sean Rafael checked his option in the big blind.
The 9♥8♠3♣ flop was checked to Crawford and he bet the pot for 300,000. Lamb folded and Rafael check-raised the pot, forcing out Lehner. Crawford called all-in and that led to the following showdown.
Brandon Crawford: 10♣10♦8♦7♦
Sean Rafael: Q♠8♥8♣4♣
During the previous break, Crawford had lamented that he was running so bad after losing multiple pots mostly without showdown to see his stack damaged. There would be no comeback for him, as the 9♠ turn and 7♥ river gave Rafael a full house. Crawford's run ended in 20th place for $54,777.
Michael Rocco raised to 150,000 in the hijack and Erik Nordstrand three-bet the pot to 540,000 in the cutoff. Simeon Tsonev in the big blind four-bet the pot to 1,800,000 and they all folded behind him.
Quan Zhou then opened to 210,000 in the cutoff for Melad Marji to call in the next seat. Zhou min-bet the A♥5♠5♦ flop for 60,000 and Marji called. Both checked the 8♦ turn and J♠ river for Zhou to expose the K♠8♠ only. Marji had that beat with the K♦K♣4♣3♠ and won the pot.
Jorryt van Hoof raised to 210,000 from early position and was called by Alex Foxen in the big blind.
The flop came K♠10♣2♦ and Foxen checked to Van Hoof, who bet enough to put Foxen all in for his remaining stack. Foxen quickly called and a showdown was held.
Alex Foxen: K♦Q♠J♣6♦
Jorryt van Hoof: A♥Q♥10♦9♦
The 7♦4♦ runout improved both players to a flush, but Foxen's king-high flush was best to award him a much-needed double-up.
Alex Foxen raised to 210,000 in the cutoff and Dominykas Karmazinas three-bet the pot on the button. Foxen called off his stack of 670,000 and the cards were tabled.
Alex Foxen: K♣K♦6♦2♥
Dominykas Karmazinas: A♠A♦Q♥J♣
The board ran out K♠4♣2♦8♣Q♦ and Foxen drilled a set of kings in the window to score a double up.
On the next hand, Thomas Taylor raised to 280,000 from under the gun and Foxen reraised to 960,000. Taylor called off his stack of around 700,000 and the hands were opened.
Thomas Taylor: A♠J♣10♦8♥
Alex Foxen: A♥Q♠10♣9♥
The dealer delivered the 6♥6♣3♣Q♥4♦ board and Taylor was left drawing dead on the turn after Foxen picked up a pair of queens.
