Foxen Straightens Out Fischer

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised it up in the hijack and Manuel Fischer got the last of his sub 300,000 stack in the middle from the blinds. Foxen called and Fischer was at risk.

The board ran out A75JK and Foxen's QJ106 was good enough to make a straight on the river and Fischer was bounced from the tournament.

Zhou Keeps Rising

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Matthew Beck raised to 75,000 in early position and Quan Zhou called on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of 863 where Beck started with a check. Zhou tossed in a bet of 175,000 and Beck called.

The turn brought the J which slowed the action as both players checked to the 9 on the river. Two more checkes and Beck showed KK95 but Zhou had JJ83 for a set of jacks to scoop another pot.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Karim Lehoussine: AA94All in
Navkiran Singh: AKJJ

Lehoussine got his chips in good with aces, but the 510592 runout improved Singh to a flush to send Lehoussine out early in Day 3.

With two players seeing a board of K38K8 and around 275,000 in the middle Melad Marji bet 110,000 from the big blind and Marcello Del Grosso called from the hijack.

Marji turned over trip kings with KQ106 to win the hand.

Lamb Forces Out Wang

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Miltiadis Kyriakides came into the day with fewer than three big blinds and survived the early carnage before the first table broke. He was then however knocked out on the second pay jump and had to settle for $28,959 while all other 47 remaining players have locked up at least $33,002 for their efforts.

On his former table, Eric Wang defended against Ben Lamb and checked the A106 flop. Lamb bet 200,000 and Wang jokingly asked "can I see a turn?" Lamb replied "you can definitely see a turn" but Wang reluctantly folded after some more table chat, exposing a double gutter.

Lamb first flashed the A and then asked "you needed a king?" while he exposed the KK as well. They bumped fists after it was all over.

Maheshwary Sends Demirel and Tinfow to the Rail in Double KO

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Shrey Maheshwary
Shrey Maheshwary

Tolga Demirel raised to 80,000 from early position and Kurtis Tinfow shoved for approximately 200,000 on the button. Shrey Maheshwary called cold in the big blind and Demirel called as well.

Maheshwary checked on the A52 flop and Demirel bet 375,000. Maheshwary responded with a shove and Demirel called all in for approximately 150,000 more to set up a three-way showdown.

Kurtis Tinfow: AQQ6All in
Tolga Demirel: AJ109All in
Shrey Maheshwary: 8543

Maheshwary had flopped a wheel with a flush redraw, and the J6 runout needlessly improved him to a flush to score the massive pot and eliminate both Tinfow and Demirel from contention.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Robert Valden
Robert Valden

Quan Zhou opened to 70,000 from the cutoff and Robert Valden three-bet to 220,000 from the small blind. Zhou called.

The flop came A23. Valden shoved and Zhou called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Robert Valden: AA76 All in
Quan Zhou: KJ102

Valden remained ahead with top set on the 6 turn but the 8 river gave Zhou the nut-flush to send Valden to the rail.

No Flush for Perkusic

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Daniel Perkusic opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Michael Zulker three-bet to 190,000 in the big blind. Perkusic called and the dealer spread the flop of Q32. Zulker announced all in and Perkusic called off his stack of 390,000.

Daniel Perkusic: A1097All in
Michael Zulker: AA54

Perkusic flopped a flush draw but that was all that he had working for him. The 6 and 8 runout changed nothing and Perkusic headed for payouts early on Day 3.

Sapitavicius Off to a Decent Start

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Arunas Sapitavicius got away with a three-bet pot preflop to win the hand without resistance.

He then faced the button raise to 75,000 by David Paredes and the small blind call of Erik Nordstrand. Sapitavicius called out of the big blind and the trio ended up checking down the Q10478. The Lithuanian tabled the K977 for a set of sevens and that won the pot.

In the meanwhile, Loren Egide was eliminated and headed past this table towards the exit.

Beck Doubles Through Valden

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Matthew Beck
Matthew Beck

Robert Valden raised to 65,000 from under the gun and was three-bet to 230,000 by Matthew Beck from directly behind. Action folded back to Valden, who called.

The flop came 462 and Valden stuck in a pile of t-100,000 denonimation chips into the middle to put Beck all in. Beck snap-called and hands were revealed.

Matthew Beck: AAK8All in
Robert Valden: KKJ3

It was an aces versus kings setup, and the 4Q runout changed nothing to award Beck the double up and leave Valden short.
