Ortins Hits the Rail Before the Redraw
Level 38
: Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Thomas Sherman raised to 2,500,000 in the cutoff and Ines Ortins three-bet to 4,000,000, with only 100,000 chips left. Sherman moved all in and Ortins called with her last chip.
Ortins tabled 9♦9♠ and was hoping to win the flip as Sherman held A♥J♦, but the board revealed 5♥6♣J♠A♣2♥ and she was eliminated right before the three tables redraw.
