Park's Two Pair Hold for a Double

Level 23

No-Limit Five Card Draw

Marco Johnson raised to 75,000 in the cutoff and Robert Mclaughlin went all in in the big blind for 420,000. Johnson folded and Mclaughlin threw his fists in the air in celebration.

The next hand, Johnson raised to 75,000 in the hijack and Hye Park went all in from the next seat for 202,000. Johnson called and drew two as Park drew one.

Park tabled two pair with 9x9x6x6x as Johnson showed a pair of 8x8x with an Ax kicker, bricking his draw with 7x6x to earn Park a double up.

Shortly after, Negreanu told the table about a game he used to play called Pregnant Threes, a Stud variant where threes are wild. If a player has a three then sixes become wild, and if they have a six then nines become wild.

"So if you start with a nine and six you're like let's go! I could draw a three and have three wild cards!" said Negreanu.
