"What the F***?!" Negreanu CAN'T BELIEVE His Hand is Beat

Level 21
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

James Obst raised in the small blind and Daniel Negreanu defended in the big blind. Obst drew two and Negreanu drew one.

Obst checked after the draw and Negreanu checked back as he showed his highest card with a jack. Obst then turned over 10x9x6x4x2x and it was good to win the pot.

"What the f***?!" Negreanu said. "How does that lose? I was being nice by not value betting!"

Kupin Turns Rast Dead

Level 21
Brian Rast
Brian Rast

No-Limit Hold'em

Action was picked up on the flop in a sizable pot that had initially seen Aaron Kupin open the action in the hijack and Brian Rast three-bet in the cutoff which Kupin called.

The flop rolled out 873 and Kupin checked over to Rast who bet 83,000. Kupin responded by raising to 200,000 and Rast called.

On the turn 9, Kupin bet 180,000 and Rast went into the tank before declaring he was all in for 529,000. Kupin immediately slammed his chips into the middle to call.

Brian Rast: AA All in
Aaron Kupin: 65

Kupin had turned a nine-high straight, leaving Rast's aces drawing dead to win before the inconsequential 10 rolled off on the river. Kupin's stack grew immensely while Rast exited the tournament just shy of the tournament redraw.

"Full snowy!" Negreanu reacted, revealing that he folded 10x8x6x4x2x.

"I broke a full house for you," laughed Betil.

Billirakis Makes Kings Full of Twos Back-to-Back

Level 21
Steve Billirakis
Steve Billirakis

No-Limit Five Card Draw

Action picked up post-draw in a hand between Hye Park from the big blind and Steve Billirakis from the cutoff.

Park had led with a bet before Billirakis raised to 480,000, leaving himself just a few chips behind, and Park eventually called. Billirakis tabled KKK22 for kings full, after having drawn three for a near double.

The very next hand, Billirakis raised from the hijack and Park called in the small blind.

After the draw, Park led for 35,000, Billirakis raised to 225,000, and Park called. In unbelievable fashion, Billirakis tabled KKK22 for kings full of twos yet again.

Both times, Billirakis had drawn three and made the exact same hand, with the same action, and the same result.

Denis Strebkov
Denis Strebkov

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Denis Strebkov from the big blind and Daniel Negreanu from the button were tangled in a pot as Strebkov was all-in for his final 335,000 to create a pot of over 900,000 once Negreanu called.

On the final draw, Strebkov stood pat while Negreanu took one.

Denis Strebkov: 8x7x5x4x2x All in
Daniel Negreanu: 7x4x3x2x

Strebkov needed to fade Negreanu's wheel draw to survive, which he could not do as Negreanu peeled an 8x on the end to make a better eight-seven, and Strebkov's run came to an end iin 14th.
