Miner spent several minutes in the tank before a tablemate called the clock. Miner eventually called.

"Just nines," Rodenborn said, showing the 9, while Miner turned over AJ8 for trip eights. Ponomarev showed QQQ for a full house as he tripled up in the main pot, while Miner took the side pot off Rodenborn.

Maxx Coleman completed, Nicolas Milgrom made it two bets, and Coleman called. Milgrom bet on fourth and fifth street, with Coleman calling both times.

Coleman caught his fourth open low card on sixth street, prompting Milgrom to check-call a bet. Milgrom also checked seventh street, and Coleman checked back.

Milgrom showed a full house, and Coleman could not find a fifth low card as he sent his cards into the muck.

Hughes had four open wheel-cards on sixth street, prompting Mantel to check. Hughes bet, folding out Zhigalov. Mantel called, however, and did so too when Hughes fired again on seventh street.

Hughes showed a pair with a seven-low, and Mantel tabled two pair to chop up the pot.

Sammartino bet again on seventh and both Shak and Chait called. Sammartino flashed the J for trips, while Shak turned over A64 for aces and fours. Chait showed 853 for a low and chopped the pot with Sammartino.

"i was hanging on for dear life," Chait said after the hand.
