Sankiewicz Can't Crack Grubka's Queens

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

In middle position, Oliwer Sankiewicz started the action with a 1,200 raise. He got a three-bet to 4,000 from the player to his immediate left, Antony Friel. Binh Tran in the cutoff called, but when action went to the big blind, Krzysztof Grubka decided to four-bet all in for around 17,400.

Original raiser Sankiewicz made it 33,000, which was enough to push out everyone else and isolate Grubka into a heads-up showdown.

Krzysztof Grubka: QQ All in
Oliwer Sankiewicz: 1010

Sankiewicz couldn't overtake Grubka's lead when the board ran 23JJ8. Sankiewicz just looked down to count what he had behind as the dealer pushed the pot to Grubka.

Martinez Doubles Through Walker

Level 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up with two players — Dimas Martinez, on the button and James Walker, in cutoff — all-in waiting for the dealer to peel the board.

Dimas Martinez: Q6 All in
James Walker: A10

Walker was ahead and remained so when the flop dropped 987. Martinez had hope as his outs increased with an open-ended straight draw.

Although Walker hit the board with a 10 turn, the same card completed Martinez's straight, pushing him ahead. The river 8 didn't change the lead securing Martinez with a double up.
