Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With the board reading 5K47, Percy Jacobs shoved all in with 77,000 chips from the hijack.

Chrystal Mahabir: KQ

Mahabir's pair of kings was already crushed by the set of fives Jacobs sported before the 10 hit on the river.

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Russell Boyd was heads-up against Ignacio Sole to his direct left. They were already all in on the 5Q9J9 board. The pot stood at around 20,000.

Sole had moved all in and action was on Boyd. Boyd took a little time before calling off Sole's bluff.

Sole stood from the table as soon as Boyd made the call, knowing he was likely beat with his king high.

Ignacio Sole: K7All in
Russell Boyd: 96

Figueredo Triples, Joyner Wins the Side Pot, Grzywaczewski Out

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was picked up with three players in an all-in showdown, with a main pot almost 400,000 and a side pot of about 50,000.

Murilo Souza Figueredo: AK All in
Brian Grzywaczewski: 1010
Timothy Joyner: AQ

The flop came Q78 which pushed Joyner in the lead. However, the tides shifted with the turn K putting Figueredo at the front for a potential triple-up. The 3 river fell and Grzywaczewski was left in the cold and eliminated while Joyner won the side pot and Figueredo the main.

Ultimate Preflop Cooler

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Douglas Weymeersch
Douglas Weymeersch

Action was picked up after a hand, with Zen Pool on his feet after heading home in one of the worst ways possible. The board read 37724 and Pool had KK in front of him. Despite the strength of his hand, Douglas Weymeersch had also got all the way to the river, and was tabling AA.

Weymeersch let PokerNews know that he and Pool had got into a preflop betting war, ending in Pool's six-bet shove, and Weymeersch's call.

"I wanted to fold," said Pool as he was exiting. "I'm not good enough yet, though.”

Flopped Flush for Hogarty

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Martin Hogarty got his entire stack in from the hijack, only for Richard Bolleurs to shove on top on the button. Everyone else folded, cards were flipped, and Hogarty sighed as he saw the bad news.

Martin Hogarty: AJ All in
Richard Bolleurs: AK

Hogarty took any and all sighs back as the flop 1028 had his opponent drawing stone dead He would stay alive no matter what turn and river were to come, and in this case they were the 3 followed by the Q.

Yranek Doubles Up After Short Delay

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Larry James started the hand with a raise on the button to 12,000. Berkeley Yuan popped the bet to 38,000 from the small blind. After big blind Jorge Yranek threw all of his 44,000 chips in, James folded.

Larry James: 99All in
Jorge Yranek: K10

The flop came 433, then there was a pause in the runout, because the dealer accidentally dropped a few cards off the top of the deck into the try in front of her.

Though the players all believed she replaced them as they were, the tournament director instructed the dealer to shuffle all of the remaining live cards before continuing the hand.

The river and turn of J5 didn't improve Yuan's hand, giving Yranek the double-up.
