Russell Boyd was heads-up against Ignacio Sole to his direct left. They were already all in on the 5♣Q♥9♥J♦9♦ board. The pot stood at around 20,000.

Sole had moved all in and action was on Boyd. Boyd took a little time before calling off Sole's bluff.

Sole stood from the table as soon as Boyd made the call, knowing he was likely beat with his king high.

Action was picked up after a hand, with Zen Pool on his feet after heading home in one of the worst ways possible. The board read 3♥7♥7♠2♥4♠ and Pool had K♥K♦ in front of him. Despite the strength of his hand, Douglas Weymeersch had also got all the way to the river, and was tabling A♠A♣.

Weymeersch let PokerNews know that he and Pool had got into a preflop betting war, ending in Pool's six-bet shove, and Weymeersch's call.

"I wanted to fold," said Pool as he was exiting. "I'm not good enough yet, though.”

The flop came 4♠3♥3♣, then there was a pause in the runout, because the dealer accidentally dropped a few cards off the top of the deck into the try in front of her.

Though the players all believed she replaced them as they were, the tournament director instructed the dealer to shuffle all of the remaining live cards before continuing the hand.

The river and turn of J♣5♠ didn't improve Yuan's hand, giving Yranek the double-up.
