Bu Surprises Sexton

David Sexton raised to 200,000 in middle position and received a shove from Fanyao Bu in late position for around 560,000. Sexton asked for a count, but even before the count finished he announced a call taking them to showdown.

Bu's tabling of his hand slightly surprised Sexton, who could only exclaim, "Oh my god!" Bu's aces held on the board of 6♦Q♥J♣6♠3♣. Bu scooped the pot, leaving Sexton with roughly six big blinds.

Chunhui Ji opened to 125,000 under the gun, and received a single caller in Ryan Pinkerton, who was in the cutoff.

The two went off to a flop of Q♠K♠8♦ and Ji decided to go for a continuation-bet of 150,000. "I want more chips" announced Pinkerton, who then ripped in his stack for 755,000. Ji didn't think for too long before letting go of his cards.

Yuan Puts the Pressure on Pineault

Players were already on the 5♣2♠J♥ flop with a pot of around 400,000.

Xizhe Yuan was sitting under the gun and against Karl Pineault in the big blind.

Pineault bet out 150,000 and Xizhe moved all in for 720,000.

Pineault went into the tank and the clock was called. As the dealer counted the final few seconds, Pineault mucked, allowing Xizhe to regain some of his stack he lost in the previous level.

Heads up on the turn, with the board reading 10♣A♣J♣3♥ Jorge Dominguez had checked his action over to Caleb Levesque, who bet out for 150,000. Dominguez paused for a moment before cutting out the chips and putting in the call.

The river brought in the 4♣ and it was here that Dominguez decided to lead out, for another 150,000. "It's a good price," said Levesque, before adding, "You probably just have the nuts though." Eventually, he did call, and saw the bad news as Dominguez tabled K♣9♣ for the flopped nuts. The two discussed how bad a river it was for Dominguez.
