Hayden Scoops Nice Pot

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Daniel Hayden raised to 125,000 from the button, John Vanarnam called from the small blind, and Jason Li called from the big blind. The flop came out with 3Q8, and everyone checked.

On the turn, Vanarnam checked, and Li took the lead and bet 150,000. Hayden called, and Vanarnam folded.

On the river 10 Li bet again for 525,000, and Hayden took some time and announced, "All in", for 1,215,000.

Li took his time and announced, "So frustrating", as he folded.

Countryman Takes Hit

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Adron Countryman fired first, going all in from middle position. Gregory Teboul, seated next to him in the hijack, went all in as well, with less, his last 1,030,000 chips. No one else called.

Gregory Teboul: AQAll in
Adron Countryman: 33

A promising flop turned disastrous for Countryman and got worse on the river as by the end of the runout 8105QA, Teboul had top two pair and the win.

River Ninja Attack

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

It was a blind versus blind situation, and both players were all in, awaiting the board. Jesse Duddy was the small blind with the dominant stack, and Matthew Klopf was in the big blind with 540,000.

Matthew Klopf: A10 All in
Jesse Duddy: AJ

The board arrived with 755KK, and it was a chopped pot with two pair and an ace kicker.

One of the other players at the table stated, "You are a river ninja,” to Klopf, who denied this adamantly.

Needle Turn for Tomren

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Yamaguchi Yota found himself all in and at risk preflop against Christian Tomren, who he had drawing extremely slim.

Yamaguchi Yota: AQ All in
Christian Tomren: KQ

The A27 flop all but locked it up for Yota, with the K turn being nothing but a needle, as the 8 river gave the check mark to Yota.

Countryman Sent Packing

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Adron Countryman had a forced all-in because he didn't have enough chips for his big blind or ante after losing more than a million chips a few hands earlier.

Christian Tomren raised to 160,000 and there were no callers.

Adron Countryman: 26All in
Christian Tomren: AJ

The 481047 runout didn't deliver a pair for either player, so Tomren's ace-high hand was good enough to seend Countryman to the rail.

Daniel Schill
Daniel Schill

Daniel Schill incredibly had more than twice as many chips as the second biggest stack, before getting into a hand with Zhongmin Xia. The two got all in preflop, with Schill in the hijack and Xia on the button.

Zhongmin Xia: 77 All in
Daniel Schill: 86

The 94JJQ runout hardly made a dent in Schill's stack, while doubling his opponent up. He is sitting on almost 180 big blinds as the last level of the night draws to a close.

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Thanh Duong
Thanh Duong

Zhongmin Xia felt pretty good about his all-in for 1,220,000 chips. He felt even better when he saw what Thanh Ha Duong, the lone caller against him had.

Zhongmin Xia: AAAll in
Thanh Ha Duong: AK

The runout J1047Q ran Xia out, though, as Duong hit a gutshot Broadway straight on the river to end his tournament late in Day 2.
