First Big Pot to Deeb
Level 21
: 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
In the first hand of the final day, Arthur Morris limped in from the small blind and Shaun Deeb checked to the A♦10♠6♠ flop. Morris had not bet yet and was in the motion of doing so when Deeb had already folded.
Deeb then limped the next small blind and Phil Ivey checked his option from the big blind. Deeb check-called the Q♠J♦6♠ flop for 500,000 and led the A♣ turn for 1,300,000, which Ivey called.
On the 10♣ river, Deeb bet another 2,050,000 with four to a straight now on the board. Ivey used three time bank extensions before tossing in a single chip for a call but couldn't beat the K♠K♣Q♣9♦ for broadway by Deeb.
