Once Upon a Pot

Level 16 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Arthur Morris raised to 280,000 and Nick Schulman repotted from the cutoff to force folds all around.

The next open raise by Morris was "all the way up" on the button, which meant another pot-sized raise to 280,000. Christopher Frank in the small blind reraised the pot to 920,000 and Morris declared all-in within a split second. During that very small window, Frank had already thrown his cards into the muck for a snap-fold.

Level 16 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Eelis Parssinen
Eelis Parssinen

Eelis Parssinen began the action with a raise to 280,000 from under the gun. Tomas Ribeiro called from the big blind.

Ribeiro put enough chips in on the flop of 8KJ to put Parssinen all in. Parssinen called off the rest of his stack to be at risk.

Eelis Parssinen: QJ108All in
Tomas Ribeiro: KJ97

Ribeiro had the best hand with two pair, but Parssinen was running thick with outs as he had flush and straight draws.

Parssinen was unable to find any of the cards he needed as the 3 turn and the 5 river were blanks to end in his demise.
