With the flop showing J62 Stephen Chidwick had his last 105,000 chips placed out in front of him and was all-in. Yosuke Miki called from the big blind, before Lou Garza raised to 350,000 from under the gun. Miki folded, and the cards went on their backs.

Chidwick's overpair was behind the set of Garza. The rest of the board ran out 87 and Chidwick was one of the first to bust on Day 2.

Karakitukov Takes From Haxton

On the tail end of a A3278 board, Veselin Karakitukov bet 80,000 out of the big blind. Isaac Haxton in the cutoff flicked in calling chips but could not beat the AJ103 for two pair by the Bulgarian.

Morris Picks Off Gryko's Bluff

Arthur Morris limped from the small blind, and Richard Gryko checked his option.

Both players checked on the KQ8 board. On the K turn, Morris checked and Gryko bet 60,000. Morris made the call.

The river was the 9, and Morris checked again. Gryko now announced a pot-sized bet. Morris went into the tank, using a time extension, and eventually made the call. Gryko turned over 10976, and Morris flipped over Q643 to take down the pot.

Morris was the chipleader to begin the day, and looks to carry that momentum into Day 2.

Ausmus Wins Pot Uncontested

Jeremy Ausmus opened the hand with a limp from early position. Veselin Karakitukov followed with a limp from the hijack before Lautaro Guerra chose to raise to 125,000 from the small blind. Ausmus and Karakitukov both called to head to a flop three-handed.

All three players checked the 682 flop.

Guerra checked again on the 10 turn before Ausmus opted to bet 150,000. Karakitukov and Guerra both folded to end the hand.

Andrejevic Catches Foxen

Andjelko Andrejevic began the hand with a raise to 100,000 from under the gun. It folded around to Alex Foxen, who chose to call from the big blind.

Andrejevic put out a bet of 70,000 on the flop of 7710. Foxen responded with a raise to 190,000. Andrejevic paused for a moment before he put in the chips for a call.

Both players checked the J turn.

The 9 river saw a bet of 185,000 from Foxen that was quickly called by Andrejevic. Foxen threw his cards in the muck, and Andrejevic did not show as he scooped the pot.

Suvarna Jams Into Lehmanski

Picking up the action on the J109 flop with 565,000 in the middle, Santhosh Suvarna in the cutoff bet 160,000 in the cutoff and was check-called by Maxi Lehmanski in the big blind. The K followed on the turn to add a second flush draw and Lehmanski checked.

Suvarna asked for the size of the pot, 870,000 at that point, and moved all in for just shy of that to force a fold from Lehmanski.

Stephen Chidwick called from the cutoff, but Gaddipati check-raised to 225,000. Davies folded, but Chidwick raised to put Gaddipati all-in for his 360,000 total. Gaddipati called.
