Arthur Morris limped from the small blind, and Richard Gryko checked his option.
Both players checked on the K♦Q♦8♠ board. On the K♣ turn, Morris checked and Gryko bet 60,000. Morris made the call.
The river was the 9♥, and Morris checked again. Gryko now announced a pot-sized bet. Morris went into the tank, using a time extension, and eventually made the call. Gryko turned over 10♠9♠7♠6♠, and Morris flipped over Q♥6♥4♦3♦ to take down the pot.
Morris was the chipleader to begin the day, and looks to carry that momentum into Day 2.
