Straight Scores Guerra a Double

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Lautaro Guerra
Lautaro Guerra

With approximately 500,000 in the pot on the flop of 786 Lautaro Guerra and Jeremy Ausmus got their chips in to create an all-in showdown with Guerra at risk.

Lautaro Guerra: AQ54All in
Jeremy Ausmus: AA96

Guerra had the best of it as he flopped a straight, while Ausmus held the overpair and a draw to a higher straight.

The K turn was a blank, and the 2 river did not alter the standings of the hand as Guerra scored the double and dropped Ausmus back down after he built his stack up.

Guerra Doubles Through Karakitukov

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

John Hennigan limped in and Lautaro Guerra raised the pot to 135,000 for Veselin Karakitukov in the big blind and Hennigan to call.

On the A76 flop, it checked to Guerra who pushed all-in for 250,000. Karakitukov folded and Hennigan called.

Lautaro Guerra: AQQ4 All in
John Hennigan: JJ76

The 2 turn and 2 river saved Guerra as Hennigan's two pair were counterfeit.

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Veselin Karakitukov
Veselin Karakitukov

Veselin Karakitukov raised to 85,000 and Lautaro Guerra called in the cutoff. Eelis Pärssinen on the button potted to 375,000 and Karakitukov asked him how many chips the Finn had behind, who counted out 670,000. Karakitukov then announced a call, which the dealer initially misunderstood and instantly provided how much the repot amount would be before it was instantly rectified.

Guerra also called for half of his stack and the flop came 552. Karakitukov bet the pot and Guerra folded. Pärssinen shook his head, looked up to the ceiling and murmured possible options before one time bank extension expired prior to his sigh-fold.

Katz Finds Spades to Double

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Aaron Katz began with a raise to 60,000 from the hijack. James Chen opted to raise to 100,000 from the cutoff before Katz responded with a raise to 360,000.

Chen pushed all the chips in, and Katz called to set up an all-in showdown.

Aaron Katz: AAKQAll in
James Chen: AAQJ

Both players were holding a pair of aces, but it was Katz who had a huge flop as it fanned out 7K2 to give him the nut flush.

The 7 turn created a sliver of an opportunity for a chop, but the 4 river put to rest any opportunity of that as Katz was awarded the double.

Gryko Gets Value from Negreanu

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Richard Gryko
Richard Gryko

Richard Gryko raised the button to 75,000 and Daniel Negreanu defended his big blind.

Negreanu check-called a bet of 125,000 from Gryko on the A72 flop.

The turn came the 10 and Negreanu check-called another bet from Gryko, this time for 325,000.

After Negreanu checked the 10 river, Gryko fired a third barrel of 500,000. Negreanu paused for a few moments, counted out the calling chips, looked back at his cards, and then made the call.

Gryko turned over A1076 for a full house, tens full of aces to win the pot, as Negreanu mucked his cards.

Updated Counts at Table 668

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Lautaro Guerra has experienced a rough start to Day 2 after losing a decent portion of his stack to Jeremy Ausmus, paying off a flopped set of tens on a king-high board. Eelis Pärssinen also chipped down while Ausmus and Isaac Haxton have been thriving early on.

Haxton limped in from under the gun with Guerra and Pärssinen coming along out of the blinds. They checked the 543 flop and Guerra's bet of 50,000 on the A turn won the small pot.

Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen and Chris Brewer clashed in an all-in pot that had Foxen at risk.

Alex Foxen: AA104All in
Chris Brewer: QJ108

The flop was a dangerous one for Foxen as it came K79, which gave Brewer plenty of outs to crack his aces.

The Q turn improved Brewer to the king-high straight and Foxen failed to make broadway with the 8 river.

Bujtas Flushed Away by Brewer

Level 11 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Laszlo Bujtas
Laszlo Bujtas

With the flop showing KJ8, Chris Brewer had four T-100,000 chips out in front and then called all-in when Laszlo Bujtas piled in his near identical stack.

Laszlo Bujtas: QQ88 All in
Chris Brewer: AJ64

The middle pair and nut flush draw of Brewer were up against bottom set and the 3 turn denied any other way to get there for Brewer. What followed was the 9 on the river and Brewer improved to the flush, leaving Bujtas flabbergasted. "Unbelievable," Bujtas sighed before leaving the tournament area.
