Scheinberg Triples Amid Controversy

Level 16

Badacey

Joseph Scheinberg bet after the first draw and both Todd Brenn in the cutoff and James Woods on the button called.

Scheinberg stood pat and bet his last chips, while Brenn took one and Woods two. Both opponents called.

"Six-five," Scheinberg announced as he briefly flashed his cards before being told there was still another draw to come. Woods insisted that Scheinberg be forced to show and asked for the floor to come over.

"It's critical we see those cards. I'm going to ask to check the cameras," Woods insisted. It took several minutes to resolve the matter, but it was eventually ruled that it was uncertain which cards Scheinberg had actually showed so he only turned over the 65 he originally announced.

Brenn then took one and Woods two. Brenn bet and Woods snap-folded as Scheinberg showed 6543A to scoop the pot and triple up.
