Bendor Goes Pot-Pot-Pot

Level 3

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

The Dealer's Choice events provide an opportunity to play games offered in few tournaments around the world. One of these is Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw, which is only available in dealer's choice and big bet mix.

George Wang opened to 500 under the gun and Yarron Bendor potted to 1,800 next to act. Michael Block cold-called in the cutoff and Wang called.

Wang took two and the others took one. Wang checked to Bendor who attempted to go all-in but was told he can only bet a maximum of 6,100. Block called and Wang folded.

On the second draw, Bendor stood pat and Block took one. Bendor jammed for 7,900 and Block let it go as bendor padded his stack wilthout showdown.

Betil Breaks His Nine, Nakache Makes an Eight

Level 3

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Around 20,000 was already in the middle as Elie Nakache and Bariscan Betil went to the second draw. Nakache drew one and Betil stood pat before moving all in for 20,000 from the hijack. Nakache called in the small blind.

Nakache stood pat and Betil took several minutes to decide on his next move. He eventually took one and Nakache showed 8x7x6x5x3x.

"I broke a nine-eight," Betil said, turning over 7x6x2x. He drew the 3x on his first card, but his second was the 9x and he was sent to the rail.

"I don't know if I win if I keep the eight," he added on his way to the exit.

Medlege Shoves Out Friedman on the River

Level 3

Big O

Adam Friedman bet 2,500 from the button on a flop of 9K5 and Geoffrey Tomes called in the small blind, as did Nadim Medlege in the cutoff.

The turn was the 2 and Friedman potted to 10,500. Tomes folded, but Medlege called to see the 3 river. Medlege then moved all in and Friedman, with around 6,000 remaining, snap-folded.

Medlege showed A6322 as he took the pot. "Would you call on the turn?" Medlege asked.

"Of course, I had a set," Friedman replied.

"No, would you have called with my hand?" Medlege added.

"I would've check-raised all in," Friedman answered.
